GUESS WHAT NO MORE REHEARSALS TILL NEXT WED! Wed seems a far and long way from now so I shall be happy and not complain. Rehearsals and rehearsals EVERY DAY for the past many days have totally drained me. Couldn't even smile on stage during the tech run@UCC. LeeChin concert I was smiling like HIGH HEAVEN. Guess I will never get that really accomplished and I-AM-TOTALLY-AWESOME feeling for Arts Fest. I think my sentences are pretty broken.

Sad thing today. It rained and all our instruments GOT WET. WTP. Sorrow goes out to those using their own thousand-dollar instruments. ): I was using the sucky school cello today so whatever lah the wood can go rot and the cockroaches can come out to devour it. :/ Sucked shit okay it was so sad! UGH.

WE ARE SERIOUSLY SWAYING LIKE COCONUT TREES. Miss Chan was wonky today and made us wiggle our asses. =.=

I am extremely disturbed over the simple fact that Facebook has a disturbingly disturbing amount of disturbing photos featuring certain disturbing people in many disturbing positions. Okay and I shall stop here before I go mad. Or too disturbed.

That’s me, or rather, most of us. Arts fest reh in KS Chee today was SUPER HARDCORE and mentally straining for me. I think I need to start exercising. Body is too weak.

Went for MPP Presentation today. Was last minute for me coz I wasn’t expecting to GO TODAY anyway…thanks to rehearsals. Oh well ended up going to the Hall anyway coz Bim said SMP and HSSRP presenters in Strings got excused anyway, so why shouldn’t MPP? Ergo. Whoa Mr Lee was awesome lah he exercised some psychological charm to entice the whole of Sec 2s and make them shutup and listen to us. Okay not sure about the ‘listen’ bit, but they quietened down. It was REALLY REALLY cool of him I was pretty impressed hahah. Presentation started and I was stoning till the REFLECTIONS part when I realized I didn’t even foresee myself at the presentation the previous days! Ergo NO SCRIPT and NO IDEA WHAT TO SAY. Then too late it was HOTA turn to stand up and pose for mug shots and reflect. Blurted out stupid stuff on the spot. All of us. We are so pro at crapping oh well. I think the whole of MPP in general freaked out the Sec 2s haha they looked pretty traumatized. :/

I HOPE I SURVIVE THROUGH TILL END OF SCHOOL. Do you know that on the day of our performance we are only officially dismissed at twelve midnight? ):

Watched CORALINE in 3D today. I will never watch anything in 3D again coz it is not worth it and the spectacles are such a pain in the arse.

OKAY CORALINE IS THE COOLEST FREAKIEST MOST CHILLING CARTOON EVER!!! SUPER COOL!!!! love it v v much! I like dark cartoons mwahahaha. like Corpse Bride whee!!!!

hm until now there are still people who get really really taken-aback when they find out somehow that i am mixed-blood. it is so amusing to see their reactions when they go something like:" WHAT??! service learning today the first session. was okay, but we still have no teacher-mentor argh what the heck. hope mr. hector segarra won't scold us or anything... june said something on the way home:*insert name here* IS JUST TRYING TO LOOK COOL, BUT FAIL BIG-TIME. it sounded so funny then. actually it does sound funny, IF you know the name haha. ok mean much but oh well...

my weekends suddenly feel so free, compared to weekdays. all the endless exhausting rehearsals in school. busking next week better turn out well!

Today was pretty O.K. Went for the STT in the morning. I was SITTING IN FRONT! Coz my unreasonable class refused to move up and no one wanted to sit right in front since Mrs Tan was infamous for sticking the microphone up your mouth suddenly during her speech and if you happened to be snoozing you would end up into treacle pudding. (what???) Uh whatever basically NO ONE MOVED UP so I MOVED UP. Happy? Yea and I was SHIVERING AT HER FEET coz during her talk she sounded so fierce and assertive! Like she wasn't scolding us or anything but her tone was really really accusatory. I was v v frightened so I grabbed YJ's pinafore. Brrrrr...
She was nice and didn't eat into our recess. So I went for break and then had rehearsal, yes again. Missed MT Week and SL presentations by Sec 4s mwahahha. I LOVE REHEARSALS LAH COZ CAN MISS ALL THE DUMB EOEOYS ACTIVITIES. >:) Rehearsal today was fine. My section DA BEST lah. Along w the great basses too. :) Unfortunately for the later part Miss K made us prac in the mini-amphi coz the upper strings needed to go through dance steps. Lucky lower strings indeed, coz we are not v mobile. So we just played the same old thing over and over again.
Next week will be major embarrassment coz we are going to perform in the canteen to kind of publicize Arts Fest and make ppl buy tickets. =.= Hope no one sees me...

Today there was an amazing sight on the roads leading out of RGS. The Raffles Strings Ensemble marched out in the blazing hot Sun and clomped their way, black top and bottom with instruments and all, to the so-near-yet-oh-so-far Garden Hotel.

ARGH I NEEDA COMPLAIN!!!!!!! Today was SUCH A RUSHED DAY. Rushed to Olympic Days (this proved again how flawed the school system is. -.- what a lousy way to mark attendance!) and sat in a queue for 30 minutes. I AM A LEGEND COZ MY FIRST SHOT WAS A BULL’S EYE! Chan Keinin herself said so, then she even asked me whether I had training outside. -.- Obviously not right. Then she started announcing to the other Shooters around her how I WAS A LEGEND. And it is NOT beginner’s luck coz the next few shots were v v near the bull’s eye as well. Only my last shot was out-of-range…-.- coz I was rushing to finish my shots to go for Strings photo taking. Clarisse Teo on the other hand is LOUSY.
Rushed to go my class and rushed to change and clomped to the music block get ready instruments and all. Rushed to Foyer and realized we were early so stoned around for a while. Then teachers came and we went down to the HOT HOT HOT AMPHI. ): The Sun was concentrating all its efforts on us. Mind you, WE WERE ALL DRESSED IN BLACK. And since none of us died from heatstroke, rest assured that String Players aren’t all that weak! Dancers came as well to pose in the middle of the Black Sea. Solame was screaming out in pain from the Sun’s rays. (OKAY KIDDING)
Took a v v long time to take photo coz arrangement was really a big deal. Finally it was done and OH NO HERE COMES! Miss Khoo announced that we were to immediately report to Garden Hotel so we can have rehearsal with Dance there! WTH right our scheduled reh time was like 1100-1300. Then she made us GO TO GARDEN HOTEL and start rehearsing at 10 plus? It clashed with the Sec 3s IC Registration as well. And therefore she stared scolding us (not our fault lah…) and made the rest of the CCA WALK to Garden Hotel first while leaving us behind and warned us to make haste. So Sec 3s RUSHED upstairs grab EZlink card etc and rushed down again and got priority in the ic registration queue. IC registration was quite fun! My first time getting the thumbprint thingum!!! Okay whatever, then we got out and grabbed our cases and marched to Garden Hotel in freaking heels and IN BLACK. (miss khoo didn’t even let us change out!) Haha oh and halfway up the slope from the music block to the main gate, we saw Clarisse Teo’s SS teacher (mr b. chew I think). He was really stoned when he stared at us and kept staring coz obviously with our cases and in black we look somewhat suspicious. Then he waved at Clarisse and she chose that moment to TURN AROUND. Meaning she didn’t see the wave lol… How sad.
GARDEN HOTEL FELT SO FAR AWAY. Plus the stupid Sun UGH.
Rehearsal was =.= Thank God I am not a violinist/violist. Kay will not reveal the programme here so MAKE SURE YOU KIDS OUT THERE GO FOR ARTS FEST. Uh, oh yea rehearsed lorh. Stood throughout the damn thing and NO WATER. >:( so pisssssssssed man… The Dance teacher is so mean please.
Later clomped back to school again WOAH the GO person and Estate Dept ppl and Security Guard actually helped the bassists to carry the Double Bass back to school! (and to Garden Hotel as well, we found out in due time) Looked really cool. And just so happened that RGS finally released the bored-stiff students so we were met with curious stares on the way back to school. I was a bit pissed (many reasons) so just kept concentrating on RGS on the way back and didn’t bother about anything else much.
REACHED SCHOOL AT LAST and my god my stomach was totally on strike and didn’t allow me to do anything until I had food. (I hadn’t had anything from the previous night 6pm till this afternoon about 1pm) Ate lunch and stoned around and went home, had a headache and fell onto bed. Here I am now.

I am prepared for more rehearsals tmr as well. The only good thing is that we get to miss lame post-EOY activities. =.=

THEREFORE PLEASE GO FOR ARTS FEST SEE ALL THE EFFORT PUT IN. AND THIS IS ONLY STRINGS AND DANCE THINK ABOUT THE REST! ANGKLUNG INDIAN DANCE MALAY DANCE HANDBELLS GUITAR ETC.

I JUST MOVIE-MARATHONed with myself! Okay fine it was just TWO movies but they were really awesome and much better than watching 10 sucky movies in a day. And of course you guessed it they were both TIM BURTON+JOHNNY DEPP films. I tell you the duo are like a MATCH-MADE FOR HOLLYWOOD man!!! Watched Sleepy Hollow and Edward Scissorhands. MWAHAHAHHA. BEST EVA!!!

Though I wish I had watched Scissorhands before Sleepy Hollow. Scissorhands was SO SAD I am utterly devastated now which is damn bad coz feeling depressed at night sucks and I can't think straight. Sleepy Hollow was the typical Tim Burton's DARK HAUNTING TALE. Headless horseman YEAH!!!!

Arts Fest prep going pretty fine. The dance moves so far are pretty simple, but choreographer on Tues will prolly make us jiggle about a bit more. Still, shouldn't be TOO BAD.

I was clearing out the inbox when I chanced upon all my mails under 'MPP'. It was really heartening to see the enthusiasm my members put in through our emails to one another (not the mass one with teachers and mentors). We were all shouting in CAPS like how we will PWN *a certain school's* ASS. How we will totally BURN OUR WAY TO OWNAGE and all. My RGS Diary is the best lah. Heh with the RGS AHOT (no typo here) TEAM WILL SCORCH OUR WAY TO DEBATES etcetera. Alas dreams turned to harsh reality but oh gosh I had this weird trembly feeling inside me as I reread the emails. I am never going to delete them mails EVER. Will miss MPP experience A LOT A LOT.

btw I look EXTREMELY HORRIBLE in the school photos. Class photo is mega phail... I was walking back to class after break or sth and when I entered this whole bunch of 313-ers looking at class photos turned round, spotted me and immediately went: "MAGGIE! YOU LOOK V COOL IN THE FORMAL SHOT!!!" I knew this definitely spelt trouble so UGH I went to check it out and OH GOD. I was SMIRKING. Same goes to the others as well. MEP and Strings. I CAN'T SMILE FOR GOD'S SAKE. ugh...

V v v tired did not get enough sleep. But what do you expect? Sleeping on the rooftop owns ttm. We could see SO MANY stars and even the ORION’S BELT while lying down. It was all against Singapore’s city skyline at night so the experience was really really great. A bit cold though…but the cosy blankets and just the thought of someone being close to you all throughout the night outweigh it all. (This sounds like some counter-counter)

Hmm back as you can see. Sent Lianne off for Perth again this morning. Whoa super tired we totally didn’t sleep man… Haha it was really fun I tell you. Darn the dares I’ve gotta do in school I HOPE NO MALE TEACHERS HAPPEN TO BE AROUND when I do my dare. -.-

Today was awesome! Morning was the only exception. Urgh I can’t stand some people…(not restricted to just plain students) Oh my during the HMT paper I realize my Chinese reading is damn fail I had to use my pen to DRAW OUT where I was supposed to read next and help me concentrate I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN MYSELF! Bet I was the only loser who did that… Plus I kept mouthing : WAN2 DAN4 LE4 to myself during the exam coz I was v v afraid I was going to run out of time. (which DID happen. Meaning I was v short of time but I DID finish the paper so thank goodness)

Feesix next was da ultimate flop. Don’t wanna talk about it… >:(

Later was FREEDOM! While the rest of the RGS popn went to hang out at Far East, Lido etc places, GraceMayMagz went to WEST MALL. MWAHAHAHAH. No RGS girls there at all! But it was awkward to be in uniform there and we changed out. Zomg-ish Grace and May are such great company. Hah. And we all hate the same people so …
Bowling was a PHAIL for gracemagz. May is such a PRO! I only had beginner’s luck hah. She got like a lot of strikes man YOOOOO. Then I went mad and started pouring baby powder all over myself and maygrace they were quite freaked out by me. Oopz sorry! But the powder game was fun right???

I LEARNT WHAT IS THE MEANING OF HAVING A SECRET FETISH!!! I realize I am quite an innocent person. Like that time I was at Lia’s house and she said her dog was humping me ??? And I was like wth is humping. Then the unkind rachyo and lia started screeching their heads off at how I didn’t know what it meant so they made me prank-call someone asking what it meant. =.= See I AM SO PURE RIGHT. I dunno a lot of things hah.

I reached home at 8 and bathe etc. Touched Solame for the first time in eons! Eh not bad can my playing STILL THERE. My sightreading skills improve!~whee.

Tomorrow is gonna be hectic but PHUN. PHUN. And PHUN TTM! I CAN’T WAIT FOR NIGHT-TIME. :D Sleeping under the stars ought to be fantastic! And it’s with the best company ever so looking forward!
